Quotation
I’m a trade unionist, a feminist, and a socialist, and I think all three are synonymous. I never tried to hide that throughout my entire career.
Biography

The much-honoured Nancy Riche was a complex thinker with a coherent set of guiding values to which she referred during her interview with Liz Burge in St. John's. Her commitment to just treatment for all women workers was evident throughout the interview, but other policy issues of justice and rights also commanded her attention. Her conversation sparkled with conviction, wit, and scrappiness. To the sadness of many Canadians, Nancy died in St John's on October 1, 2011. Six days earlier, she had participated in a spirited national CBC radio (Sunday 25th September) discussion about unions and their right to strike.
